Top Ten Tuesdays

What did you do last Tuesday? I don’t remember either.

Why is it that we live so many days in our lives, yet fail to take advantage of every single one?  Are some days not worth remembering?  Are they worth throwing away?

The answer is no.  No, they’re not.  Sometimes we forget that days cannot be recycled.  If they are not fully lived, they are thrown away.  Wasted.

So, what are Top Ten Tuesdays?  They are a call to life.  A simple reminder that no day is menial and every day you spend on this earth is an opportunity to make your life something it otherwise would never have been.

We’ve decided to take one day every week to do something worth remembering.  We urge you to do the same. Take a photograph of that day; on your camera or just in your mind.  A photograph of something worthy of a place in your mental scrapbook.  Your life scrapbook.

You wake up every day with a clean slate.  Don’t let the day die without any color.

Break your routine.  Be spontaneous.  Cross something off your list.*  Embrace every day like it should be in your Top Ten.  Life knocks on your door every day, but don’t forget – one day that knocking will stop.

Live while you still have the chance.

So I’ll ask you again:

What did you do last Tuesday?

*The Bucket List.

  11. Love this! I have a pretty lengthy bucket list (as do you, I see), and Tuesdays are usually pretty blah. What a great idea!
