Face Off

Tonight is a big night.

Game 5.  Devils vs. Rangers.  One step closer to the Stanley Cup.

The NHL Eastern Conference Finals have been intense with a capital “I.”  The series is currently tied at 2 and the Hudson River rivalry is in full effect — between the teams and the fans.

If you know where I was born, raised, and currently reside, you can probably guess which team I’m rooting for.  If not, maybe my brother’s tattoo will give it away.

Even though it pains me to say it because I really freakin’ hate the Rangers, I think that both teams in the running for Eastern Conference Champions are great.  I mean, you’d be crazy to say otherwise.  The series is tied 2-2, Brodeur and Lundqvist are two of the best goaltenders in the league, and no team is going down without a fight.

It’s going to be a close one, but I’ve got faith in our boys and I’m excited to see how it all pans out.

[Don’t be fooled.  I have zero athletic abilities.]
