2012: The Year in Review
And, just like that, another year is behind us.
January.
We spent the first day of the New Year at my favorite place in the world; The Shannon. Brooke turned 21 in an elevator. I started my own Etsy shop. Greg turned 24 and we all became Ninjas for a night. We successfully spent 12 hours in a bar.
February.
We went to see David Guetta in Atlantic City and wore the most ridiculous t-shirts ever. We celebrated as the Giants won the Superbowl. And then I quit my job!
March.
I turned 24. I went to London to visit my very best friend. Brian picked a lot of noses. I started my new job after enjoying one very fun weekend of FUNemployment.
April.
We got bottle service for absolutely no reason. Tom celebrated his Golden Birthday. We went on a wine tour in Long Island and got a little bit rowdy on the party bus.
May.
We survived Electric Daisy Carnival. The Devils beat the Rangers in the Eastern Conference Finals and I was lucky enough to witness it first hand. I shot my first set of engagement photos. And I got a new roommate! The highlight of my year!
June.
I ate meatballs with my soul sista. Frank cooked, a lot. We went to DJ school and got our jam on.
July.
My best friend moved back home. I visited Holly and Jay in Nantucket and fell in love with it. I ran a race in excruciating heat (and didn’t die)! I spent too much time at the Jersey Shore.
August.
We threw a successful surprise party. Frank continued cooking, and we drank a lot of scotch. Jimmy met Brooke. Another highlight of my year, indeed.
September.
I met my beautiful baby cousin for the first time and fell in love. We bought tickets to Lady Gaga! And we Wine Riot-ed. Tommy and I got all fancy at the Guggenheim with Gaga. As always, we remembered.
October.
We cheered on the Yankees. Jay-Z came to Brooklyn. We survived Hurricane Sandy in Hoboken, even if it did trap us in my apartment for 9 days.
November.
History was made, again.
December.
Frank, Greg and I sent out our very first roommate Christmas card (and it was a big hit). I went to Norway. I got to spend Christmas with the people I love most.
2012 was wonderfully fabulous, just as I predicted. I am excited to see what’s in store for 2013. I’m determined to make it my best year yet.
Thank you for reading, as always!

Next year I better be on your 2013 year in review – it’s about time we get together! I don’t think I’ll be in NYC for New Years (I had to come into work today – BOO) but I’m planning a trip soon. AKA we can get wild and drunk and obnoxiously run throughout the city. Happy New Year love!
YES. Adding it to the NYE resolutions. Have a great and safe night! xoxo
Happy New Year, Alyssa! Congrats on a 2012 well done. Wishing you a 2013 with many more laughs, opportunity, and heartwarming memories.
Thank you, Danielle! Wishing you a most wonderful 2013, you Parisian princess.
